June 5, 2012 Just got my first ever "Brazilian" and Gina made it as good as that experience can be! She is new at this location but not new to the business. Her skin care business is located in the Salon Concepts building - which in itself is a pretty cool idea. All the operators there have their own little suites -sort of like booth rental but even better!
I got 1/2 price deal on DealChicken for the waxing at Luminous Skin which gave me the incentive to give it a try. Gina was friendly, fast, and very professional. It's impossible to have that particular service done without some "sting", but honestly, I think she did it as well as it could be done. It was a little uncomfortable, but not really too bad. More importantly, she made me so comfortable that I didn't even think about what she was doing!
She offers a "maintenance package" for her Brazilians - reduced cost if done monthly. I think that's a great idea. She also offers a "customer loyalty" card - every 6th service is free. I think that's also a great idea.
She does all kinds of skin care - not just waxing. I am planning to have a facial done in the near future!

November 11, 2012 I found Gina from this website (Yelp) and I was so happy with her and her service! She was quick to return my call and quick to get me in for an appointment. There was no waiting when I walked in. She made me feel comfortable and it was the best waxing appointment I've had! I highly recommend her and can't wait to try more of her services, like facials and skin care!

July 9, 2012 I have never had a facial before and decided that I would like to get one, but was not sure what to expect. Gina was so friendly and did a beautiful job! The atmosphere was beautiful and so relaxed! I left with amazing skin and very relaxed! I didn't want to leave! I will recommend Gina to anyone who wants beautiful skin! Truly a great professional Esthetician!

August 14, 2012 I took my 14 year old daughter to Luminous Skin for a "teen facial" as a treat before starting high school. Gina did such a great job with making her feel comfortable, and not only did Morgan enjoy it, her skin was in noticeably better condition after it. I wish we had thought to take before and after pictures! I highly recommend Gina's services and will be scheduling again in the near future!

June 12, 2012 Based of the review here on yelp, I called Gina for a last minute appointment before I took a vacation. She called me back promptly and made an evening appointment for me THE NEXT DAY. Awesome.
This was my first Brazilian and I was really nervous but Gina was great. She assured me it didn't hurt as much as everyone says and she really was right. It wasn't bad at all and it only took 20 minutes..
Gina chatted with me almost the whole time (again..I'm pretty sure she could tell I was nervous and felt awkward so she was trying to take my mind off the whole situation, I think!) but was still incredibly professional and efficient. She even made sure to tweeze any little hairs left over and let me do a check myself to make sure I was satisfied which I was pleased with as well.
As the other reviewer mentioned, she offers a loyalty program and let's you come in for a reduced price maintenance session which I was also impressed with.
And totally unrelated bonus points: She also appears to use and sell Dermatologica products (which is a great skincare line that I use) so I immediately felt additionally at ease. My first thought when I walked into her very nice and extremely clean office was that this obviously is a woman who knows what quality is!
I would definitely recommend her to anyone!
